Valentina Dimas and Gabe Kim meet with Dennis Gagnon, a social work law enforcement officer, after they're unable locate one of the three documentary subjects, "J.P.". Gagnon works with the Eureka homeless population and often knows of individuals whereabouts.

Valentina Dimas and Gabe Kim are two of several Humboldt State University students documenting homelessness during the COVID-19 era. They have been following 3 storylines about the increasing struggles of homelessness during a global pandemic. They've been working on this project for class credit.

Jewelry maker, Silvio Sbárbaro, sells his hand made jewelry in the Arcata Plaza at the weekly farmers market. The Chilean native has been in Humboldt County for over 14 years. Originally drawn to the area's marijuana cultivation, Sbárbaro now calls Humboldt home. Sbárbaro uses varying metals and natural resources to make intricate jewelry. Forks are bent and contorted to create necklaces and rings. Wood is carved to make incense holders with elves standing guard. Sbárbaro uses anything and everything to channel his artistic visions.
